Madara Uchiha

Madara Uchiha was the leader of the Uchiha clan many years before the start of the Naruto series. Together with Hashirama Senju, Madara founded the village of Konhagakure. After a dispute over the title of Hokage, Madara left the village. He would later return with the Kyuubi to wage war on Konoha. Hashirama defeated him and the fox at the location that would come to be known as the Final Valley. Whether Madara died here is still somewhat unsure.

Madara's power was legendary. He was the first Uchiha to obtain the Mangekyou Sharingan, Eternal Mangekyou, and, shortly before his death, the Rinnegan.
